Legal Immigrant Sues San Francisco

This ought to put the liberals in San Francisco in a quandary.

A San Francisco illegal immigration opponent has sued the city’s police chief and police commissioners for failing to comply with a state law that requires officers to tell federal authorities about all suspected noncitizens who are arrested on drug charges.

Charles Fonseca, a 70-year-old Portola district resident who came to the United States from Nicaragua at the age of 9 and filed the lawsuit May 4, said he opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants, especially those who break the law after they get here.

Notice how they demonize him:

City Attorney Dennis Herrera, whose office will defend the city against Klehm and Fonseca’s lawsuit, said through a spokesman Thursday that he is confident in the city’s legal position. Herrera’s office would not comment on whether police comply with the law.

“This is a cynical lawsuit that reflects the political aims of an anti-immigrant extremist,” Herrera said in an e-mail. “And I, frankly, think it’s intended to win headlines rather than a favorable judgment.”

They call this legal Immigrant an “anti-immigrant extremist”!  They can’t call him a racist because he ostensibly is the same “race” as most illegals.

Then this gem:

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has said several times that he and other San Francisco officials remain committed to offering illegal immigrants refuge in the city.

San Francisco has been a sanctuary city since 1989. The designation, adopted by cities across the country in the late 1980s and early 1990s has no legal meaning.

Robert Rubin, legal director for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of San Francisco, helped write the sanctuary ordinance and said it doesn’t contradict the reporting requirement.

“This is a frivolous lawsuit,” Rubin said. “This state law is embodied in the general order of the Police Department. I don’t know why he contends the city is not reporting.”

And Mr. Rubin presumably said that last sentence with a straight face.

Good Luck Mr. Fonseca!  Athough the law and logic are on your side, this is San Francisco.  You haven’t a chance in the world.

If Minutemen Are Vigilantes, What Do Call Millions of Rioting Illegal Aliens?

When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year
to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in U.S. Homeland
Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots
by calling them vigilantes.

Although chagrined at beingdeserted by the man who has the constitutional
Responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug
in their heels and persisted.

And persisted.

Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded
when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents
to Arizona.

Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay
greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due
diligence of heroic Minutemen.

Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border
advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was
“impossible” to stop illegal immigration.

Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food
staples, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.

Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped,
thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American
citizens.

Now, with millions of illegal immigrants and
advocates taking over the streets of American cities and
demanding rights they are not entitled to, where in the hell is
our alleged President?

How is that a few hundred retired seniors with lawn chairs and
cell phones are vigilantes, while millions of people with no legal
or moral basis for being here are able to romp through Los
Angeles and Dallas, without so much as a peep from Mr. Bush?

Does Mr. Bush even understand that America is on the brink of
civil war?

Must violence and bloodshed erupt before this inept
president secures the borders and takes appropriate actions
to secure America?

Illegal immigrants have long been using our emergency services for free medical care for treatment of such things as headaches and common colds. But now, an ever growing group of brash illegal immigrants are stretching this entitlement to absurd levels.

UB recently had the opportunity to meet with members of the Kansas City Fire Department and EMS to discuss the problem of illegal immigration. We heard the usual assortment of stories that are becoming all to common among emergency services employees about illegal immigrants calling 9-1-1 to receive free rides to the hospital. What we didn’t expect to hear was accounts of a fairly new practice that is gaining in popularity among the illegal immigrant population.

Illegal immigrants have learned that they can game our emergency services system by calling 9-1-1 and demanding ambulances take them to hospitals far across town. Along the way the illegal immigrant will abruptly demand to be let out at various intersections near destinations that are anything but related to life saving medicine, such as Home Depots, grocery stores, and just about anywhere else they want a free ride to. Because current law prevents emergency medical staff from inquiring about the status of ones citizenship, EMS are incapable of preventing the exploitation of emergency services for personal gain.

One EMT told us they feared patients in real emergency may suffer needlessly or even die as a result of ambulances being unavailable due to unecessary calls from illegals routing them far outside their territories. Local officials were unavailable when we tried to reach them for comment.

Mock “Day Labor” sites on pro-illegal politicos lawns

It’s time for ‘IF YOU CAN’T BEAT ‘EM, JOIN ‘EM’ again, sponsored by Southern Conn. Citizens For Immigration Reform.
If you happen to live in an area where day labor sites are set up, you know how frustrating it can be. Illegal aliens flock to these sites, often causing chaos for the legal residents of the area. They don’t have to worry about getting arrested or deported. But some communities are taking this directly to the homes and yards of their local politicians.

Our last activity ‘IF YOU CAN’T BEAT ‘EM, JOIN ‘EM’ —just to jog your memory, we were setting up Mock Day Labor sites on pro-illegal politicos lawns; went extremely well. Aside from not letting us put a porto-john on Mayor Malloy of Stamford’s front lawn! However we had quite a presence with our hardhats and blue collar shirt uniforms. In fact it went so well that we are going to have an encore showing.Starting this weekend in Long Island, (Southampton) on the lawn of another pro-illegal alien mayor, Mayor Epley, we–SCTIR will join forces with AIIA (Anti-Illegal Immigration Association, headed up by Brian Russell). Also attending will be members of NYICE (New York Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as well as USCFILE also from CT.

All of our groups will retain their names and local identities, however we are going under the umbrella of the YANKEE PATRIOT ASSOCIATION. The following Saturday; May 19th, we will return to Stamford and Mayor Malloy’s stomping grounds. First we will make a visit to the Hassle Free Day Labor Site –set up by Mayor Malloy where illegals gather by the hundreds. While there we will set up a legal Day Labor Site with actual citizens right smack in the middle of theirs,, and then we will visit his Honor’s own palatial estate on Shippan Point, Stamford and do the same thing there, set up a mock day labor site. That will occur from 2:20 pm to approximately 3:20 pm. IF YOU CAN’T BEAT ‘EM; JOIN ‘EM.

Driver in fatal crash an illegal

I know I post a lot on this, but this is something that really gets to me.

How many times do you have to read about this?

Well none if you don’t come here but if you do, you will keep reading about it until something is done about it.

This man was just starting out his life.
20 years old, didn’t even have a chance!

Another life cut short by a CRIMMIGRANT!

Yes, the newest word added to my vocabulary thanks to my friend Kitty.

CRIMMIGRANT, ILLEGAL ALIEN, ILLEGAL CRIMINAL INVADER, UNDOCUMENTED WORKER, ( OR IN THIS CASE UNDOCUMENTED DRUNK DRIVER)

So it’s up to ICE to decide whether this CRIMINAL is deported?
SEND HIM TO PRISON FOR LIFE, THEN LET MEXICO TAKE CARE OF IT AFTER HE’S DONE.
You can believe if he doesn’t get life he will be back!

It’s all the same, they are here breaking the law and taking lives!
My prayers go out to the family, there was no reason for this, none at all.

Driver in fatal crash an illegal – Metropolitan – The Washington Times, America’s Newspaper

The man involved in a weekend vehicle accident that killed a University of Maryland student is an illegal alien from Mexico, according to Prince George’s County Police Department charging documents.
Police said Never Leopoldo Navarro-Montoya, 24, of the 9100 block of Springhill Lane in Greenbelt, crashed his Ford Ranger pickup truck into a Jeep Cherokee at about 3 a.m. Saturday on University Boulevard in College Park, causing the SUV to roll over and kill student Matthew Watson, 20, of Ellicott City, Md.

Witnesses gave a description of the pickup driver, who fled the scene. Police several hours later found a man who matched that description lying in the grass along University Boulevard, a third of a mile away from the crash. The man, who had facial cuts consistent with the accident evidence, was identified as Mr. Navarro-Montoya.

Police said Mr. Navarro-Montoya produced a permanent resident card and a Social Security card bearing his name. He told a Prince George’s County police officer that the documents were fake and purchased in Texas. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Mr. Navarro-Montoya was an illegal alien from Mexico, according to the charging documents.
Police said Mr. Navarro-Montoya was traveling west on University Boulevard when he hit the Jeep, which was turning left onto Metzerott Road.
Mr. Watson was a passenger in the Jeep. Two other passengers and the driver sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

A spokeswoman at the Prince George’s County Correctional Center, where Mr. Navarro-Montoya is being held, said he also is charged with one count each of driving while intoxicated and driving under the influence, and five counts of failure to stop.
Court documents state he also is charged with possession of false identification.
Mr. Navarro-Montoya is being held on $75,000 bail and is scheduled for a hearing July 31 at Maryland District Court in Hyattsville.

It is at the discretion of ICE whether to pursue a deportation hearing for Mr. Navarro-Montoya, officials said.
