God Bless America Again”

They just can’t stop themselves, can they? They are going to continue to try to shove this piece of garbage amnesty bill down our throats – AGAIN! But there is something they have forgotten. There is something that they didn’t expect because they thought we were all still asleep.

Patriots, I am so proud of all of you for every single phone call and every single fax, e-mail, and letter you have sent to our leaders in Washington. You made a difference but our fight isn’t quite over just yet.

In a letter from Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC), William Gheen writes:

Today, you will hear more wild news coming from King George and the “sellout” Senators. You will hear more lies and distortions coming through your televisions and newspapers than ever before.

The battle cry of the corporate sponsors of this invasion is, “Can’t there be hope for immigration reform?” “Can’t there be compromise?” And as one Fox News pundit proclaimed, “You are on the wrong side of history.”

Bush has declared to reporters that he is coming back to twist the arms of the Republican Senators, in an effort to resurrect and pass the Scamnesty Bill S. 1348!

He has proclaimed, “I will see you at the bill signing.”

Most of us feel like responding with, “See you at your trial or impeachment hearing” and “Bring it on!”

New Low Bush, as we call him because of his diving poll numbers and willingness to stoop to new lows. He is about to hit his political Waterloo!

This President continues to surprise us with actions and statements that are either completely ignorant of reality, insane, or a combination of both!

Articles with the details:

He continues to make wrong move after wrong move, just like he did in Georgia two weeks ago, when he marched into the WRONG state, spoke to a captive audience of cadets that had to clap to keep their jobs, and proclaimed that the opposition to his Scamnesty bill did not have the best interest of America in mind!

We want each of you to be ready and energized to lead the backlash charge after the hammer falls today.

For those of you that are tired and discouraged, we offer this advice.

Stick with the truth because we carry the truth that can save America. The truth is our ally in this cause and each one of you speaking the truth can overcome the power of the opposition. Each one of you can counter hundreds of their minions and powerful media and political pundits. The truth has a power and that power is on our side.

There is an old saying “There are no atheists in Foxholes”. Well Americans, we are in political foxholes today and waiting on the advance. We should all pray for guidance and for the salvation of our nation in the face of these liars and the great evil they are trying to perpetrate upon the American citizenry.

The American Spirit is rising within us and this spirit has risen to the challenge many times before especially when America was in great peril. We are the embodiment of the American Spirit and now we must let it guide us, while we place our trust in this spirit and God, that we will prevail.

I hope that the videos below will inspire you and energize you in this fight.

You will receive more information and activism response information, as soon as the President completes making his next move.

Yours in the cause,

Lyrics:

Well the eagle’s been flying slow and the flag’s been flying low
And a lot of people are saying that America’s fixing to fall
But speaking just for me and some people from Tennessee
We got a thing or two to tell you all
This lady may have stumbled but she ain’t never fell
And if the Russians don’t believe that they can all go straight to hell
We’re gonna put her feet back on the path of righteousness
And then God bless America again

And you never did think that it ever would happen again
In America, did you?
You never did think that we’d ever get together again
Well we damn sure fooled you
We’re walking real proud and we’re talking real loud again in America
You never did think that it ever would happen again

From the sound up in Long Island out to San Francisco Bay
And ev’ry thing that’s in between them is our home
And we may have done a little bit of fighting amongst ourselves
But you outside people best leave us alone
Cause we’ll all stick together and you can take that to the bank
That’s the cowboys and the hippies and the rebels and the yanks
You just go and lay your head on a Pittsburgh Steeler fan
And I think you’re gonna finally understand

And you never did think that it ever would happen again
In America, did you?
You never did think that we’d ever get together again
Well we damn sure fooled you
We’re walking real proud and we’re talking real loud again in America
You never did think that it ever would happen again

This issue crosses ALL party lines and Americans from ALL walks of life are outraged. It’s not over yet, my friends, and we will never give up because this nation is our nation and it is worth fighting for.

Secret Squirrel Mission #2: A Chat with Senator Isakson

12 06 2007

Cross posted from   Georgia Crime Watch

Bush and Isakson

So, yesterday I was able to sneak in on a conference call with Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia. The purpose of the call was to touch base with some of Isakson’s choice constituents. [Apparently, I am not one of them, because I received my invite from someone else.]

Regardless, I am glad I attended, because the comments from all but one person confirmed that Georgian’s are 1) Fed up with illegal immigration and 2) Do NOT want the Senate to pass this immigration bill.

The first person, whom i’ll call #1, [this was a 'private' call, afterall...] asked Senator Isakson if he thought the minimal improvements on border security were a good trade for the immigration bill.

Isakson responded by saying that the root of the illegal immigration problem is the leak, [more like wide, gaping wound], in the border, and that his ammendments to ensure border security first, before any other new immigration process, was obstructed. This is why he did not support cloture.

#1 went on to ask Isakson if the border security did not approve in the bill, would Isakson support it.

Isakson responded by saying, [...i'm paraphrasing here...], that he has been on the border and without good, credible law enforcement there – America is better off without the bill if it isn’t ‘whole.’

Then we move on to Caller #2: He says that he does not support the immigration bill, that the border needs to be closed and the existing laws need to be enforced. Only then can America consider working on reforming the guest worker programs.

Isakson said that he’s been speaking about the need for a secure border since February 2006, BUT that he needs the support of Congress and the President in order to have the border enforced.

Caller #3 says that the amnesty of 1986 did not work and asks why we need new laws, if the existing law is not enforced?

Isakson says that the 1986 amnesty made a promise of enforcement, but did not have the funding to back it up. Isakson went on to say that the new immigration bill has mandatory appropriation for funding of the new laws. He also said that he insisted on the mandatory funding in this bill.

Caller #4 says the Z-Visa will be devastating for America, and that the illegal immigrants draining our healthcare, public school, and other public systems are harming this country.

Isakson responded by saying the Z-visa is an improved way of identifying illegal immigrants, because the ID’s will be biometric. He says that if a biometric ID is put in place, then the document fraud will be put out of business. Isakson also said that in the bill, there are no medical, social security, or welfare benefits for the illegal immigrant, or those with the Z-visa.

Caller #5 Is the only caller that said he trusts Isakson to pass the right bill.

Caller #6 Commented on an unrelated issue, so we’ll move straight to caller 7.

Caller #7 Was a member of a law enforcement association and said that he wanted to make it clear that the position of the Sheriff’s in the association was the following:

- They were in favor of federal funding or grants for Sheriff’s Deputies to ramp-up security on the border.
- That the $100 million in the bill was not enough to do it.

The caller went on to say that law enforcement officers are experiencing, “Hell on the border,” and that some deputies are having to escort their families to school and work, because of the threats they are receiving from the Mexican drug cartels. In addition, the methamphetamine coming up from the southern border of Mexico is wreaking havoc on the United States and is a major source of crime in many cities. He also said that funding that helps cities house the illegal immigrants arrested on our soil has been nixed by the President EVERY YEAR, so local agencies are left with the bill.

Isakson commended the law enforcement officers for their work and said that he is leading the fight against methamphetamine, however, he said it was not just an illegal problem, but simply a Meth problem. He agreed that more money is needed for the Sheriff’s on the border.

Caller #8 Said that the existing law needed to be enforced and the fence authorized by the government last year needs to be erected as promised. He went on to say that birthwright citizenship needed to be eliminated and the U.S. visit program need to be reformed.

Isakson said that Congressman Nathan Deal [who I love and adore] has championed the cause of eliminating birthwright citizenship and continues to work on it to this day. He has drafted separate legislation to get the Supreme Court to revisit the issue.

Caller #9 Said that it seems there has been no one propisitioning enforcement of illegal hiring, or enforcement of existing law. Critisized the President for being lax on law enforcement.

Isakson responded by saying that most money is put in securing the border; that the cost of hiring Border Patrol Agents and testing unmanned vehicles are taking place instead. Isakson also said that the critisicm of the President is fair.

–End of call–

So, as you can see, Georgian’s are voicing their opinions of both the current Administration and the Senate’s illegal immigration bill. Now, if we could only get the message to the President.

The Hall County schools tax rate for fiscal 2007-08 is lower, but many homeowners, beset with rising property reassessments, will see a jump in taxes.

School officials have said the increase is largely the result of projected growth in enrollment — an additional 800 students are expected next school year — and teacher salary increases.

Illegal Immigration is Justification for Bush’s Impeachment!

12 06 2007

Cross posted from   The Peoples Patriot

If you are like me, you have had enough of Bush’s arrogance and total disregard for our Constitution and rule of law. His misdemeanors rub off on politicians all the way down to the municipal level. It’s time for him to face the consequences of his treasonous acts.

I took a few days off from posting to stay abreast of the latest developments following the defeat of the proposed illegal alien amnesty legislation S.1348. I believe the initial defeat of the bill, in the form of rejecting a cloture vote, has changed the landscape significantly in the fight to win back our country.

On May 30th, 2007, Rassmussen reported the results of their nationwide poll on the Senate’s S.1348 illegal amnesty legislation. The findings were conclusive by any definition of the term. It was reported that only 16% of those polled, believed that S.1348 would actually reduce illegal immigration. A stunning 84% held the opinion the bill simply wouldn’t work.

This poll is supported by the enormous ground swell of grassroots activism in opposition to giving illegal aliens amnesty. NumbersUSA alone sent over 750,000 faxes and signed up 7,000 new members. Grassfire.org, another grassroots organization, gathered and delivered over 700,000 petitions against the amnesty legislation.

Perhaps the grassroots activists knew what the Congressional Budget Office was to report last week. The terribly flawed S.1348 amnesty bill would only reduce illegal immigration by 25%.

Let’s see if we have this straight. This illegal alien amnesty bill, will trade immediate amnesty to 12 to 20 million illegal aliens, that has a cost associated with it of $2.5 trillion, for a mere 25% reduction in illegal immigration. This is in the best interests of the United States? I think not. No doubt the anti-amnesty activist’s opposition to this travesty was and is right on the money.

The first cloture vote passed with 69 votes, with 60 needed as a minimum. The cloture vote, on Thursday, was 45 to 50 leading to the shelving of the bill. In the course of a couple of weeks, public pressure on the Senate had been so intense, it reversed the votes of 24 Senators. That is simply remarkable. Enraged grassroots activists persuaded 25% of the Senate to do to an about face on illegal alien amnesty and do what is right for America.

The pressure was indeed intense as you can tell from Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl’s comments about the pressure his constituency put on him.

“’Yes, I have learned some new words from some of my constituents…”

If he thinks that is bad, wait until he is reminded that he was given his job by American people as they vote his sorry behind out of office.

Last week, the will of the people became clear. There is to be no amnesty for illegal aliens who have broken laws to enter the country and laws to remain and work in the country. All the while, subsidized by the American citizen taxpayer in the form of free health care, free education and jobs taken from Americans and given to them for pennies on the dollar.

It matters not to these special interest lackeys occupying the White House and Senate, that the hoards of invaders are, in essence, camouflage for terrorist training in South America and beyond. Whose intention is the physical and ideological destruction of the United States.

Unfortunately there is a traitor in the White House who advocates for these invaders, occupiers and usurpers of all things belonging to Americans. This traitor will attempt a no holds barred initiative to ignore the will of the American people in order to destroy this country and satisfy his father’s vision of a “New World Order”.

The criminal in the White House, who has destroyed his presidency and political party, will attempt to inflict further harm to the country and party he is leaving behind. He will be employing strong arm tactics to get political leaders, who have finally advocated for the American people, to jump on his illegal alien amnesty treason train.

If we presently had a real American President, instead of this shill for the Mexican government, the situation we are faced with would have never evolved into this debacle of treasonous activity.

How else would you describe permitting the invasion and occupation of the United States by foreign people, 12 to 20 million strong? Any leader of any country in the world would be considered a traitor by such acts of treason. It’s about time this country do the same.

To traitor Bush in the White House, the will of the people is meaningless and to be ignored. The fact the United States is a sovereign Democratic Republic is to be ignored. The fact that he has sworn to protect the sovereignty of the United States and uphold the Constitution is to be ignored.

In my opinion, theses are acts of treason and is cause for me to join Peter Gadiel in calling for Jorge Arbusto’s impeachment.

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution states:

” The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Peter Gadiel is a Connecticut resident who lost his son in the 911 terrorist attack on the United States. He makes a very strong case for the impeachment of the traitor known as George W. Bush.

“It is beyond dispute that Bush has intentionally and maliciously violated many of the duties imposed on him by the Constitution. For those who haven’t paid attention, here’s a list of his high crimes, his violations of his Constitutional obligations:

  • Rather than repelling foreign invasion as he is required to do, he has invited it and he has provided aid and comfort to the invaders and to those who give them employment.
  • Rather than acting to insure domestic tranquility he has done his best to destroy it. His presidency has been devoted to tolerating and encouraging infiltration of our country by violent criminal aliens who, once inside our country, commit crimes as individuals, as part of organized international gangs or as agents of violent religious movements emanating from such enemy nations as Saudi Arabia.
  • He has encouraged the erosion of American sovereignty, and aided those who would destroy our independence. It has become the publicly-expressed policy of the Mexican government to influence the internal affairs of the United States. This policy has been put into effect using the 48 Mexican consuls in the US. Lobbying by these foreign enemies, which is in violation of treaties, is now common, widespread, and done openly. Mexican officials and illegal aliens acting in concert with them lobby elected and appointed officials throughout the United States; in small towns and large cities, in county commissions, state legislatures and the Congress. The President of the United States refuses to end these practices, even though he could do so with a simple instruction to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that she order the expulsion of the offending diplomats and closure of the consulates.
  • Bush’s open refusal to enforce immigration laws already on the books amounts to an assumption of the power to repeal legislation without the involvement of any other Branch of government.
  • Armed Mexican troops have invaded US territory. This in itself is not an unprecedented event, but Bush’s failure to respond with force or even a public condemnation is unique in our history.

I acknowledge, of course, that other Americans have other reasons for wanting to impeach Bush. The most publicized is the war in Iraq. As a lawyer, I must admit that I am concerned about his unilaterally creation of what in effect is a line item veto, declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. He has done this by appending “signing statements” to all bills crossing his desk, describing what portions of those laws he will enforce.”

Andrew Johnson was the first President to be impeached but not convicted. There were two impeachment attempts made by his political enemies.

Bill Clinton was the only the second President to be impeached, again without conviction, due to, among other things, his lying about receiving oral sex in the White House.

As a consequence of the Watergate scandal, Nixon was facing imminent impeachment and conviction and decided to resign in light of that.

None of the charges faced by these three past Presidents were as serious and harmful to the our country as the treasonous misdeeds of George Bush. It’s time to take the gloves off and give our politicians, starting with Bush, the tough love treatment they need and deserve. The American people looking the other way, in light of such criminal behavior, will only insure that we get much, much more of it in the future.

It’s time for the full court press. Join NumbersUSA today and tell Washington you have had enough. Start planting the seeds of impeachment in the minds of your Congressional representatives. If Bush wants no holds barred, let’s give it to him.

“I’ll See You at the Bill Signing,” Declares President Bush. Not quite, we’ll see you at the impeachment hearings.

I refuse to bow, how about you?

Newt Gringrich gets it. He simply gets it and he isn’t afraid to speak his mind. There is a reason that Newt has a large following and it’s because he not only has a real grip with whats wrong with this country but he articulates ideas on how to fix things. I’ve said it here before that I’m a Newt fan and if in September he announces a run for President he has my support. Heck even Chuck Norris wants Newt to run! In a satirical piece Chuck writes about what his “campaign promises” would be if he ran (basically a riff on all those “Chuck Norris can” things on the web). At the end of it he says this:

Looking over my campaign promises, I’m sure my liberal friends are even now rejoicing that I’m not really running for president. However, my hope is still out that Newt will jump into the race!

Now in my humble opinion, Chuck Norris is a celebrity endorsement you would want to have!

Here’s why I say Newt really “gets it”. He’s talked about the global war on terror, he’s talked about inefficiencies and inadequacies in our government, piece for Human Events.com that goes along with the video.

# When Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff said that we had to “bow to the reality” of millions of people being here illegally, he illustrated the difference between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan as President.

Carter kept trying to convince us to accept malaise as the best we could do and to lower our expectations. Reagan told us we had every right to dream great dreams because we were Americans. Tell your senator that Secretary Chertoff needs to get off the Carter failure team and join the Reagan success team. That goes for everyone else in Washington who is trying to tell us we have no choice except to “bow to” illegality.

He also goes on to nail one of the biggest problems with the amnesty bill as it relates to homeland security.

But ask this simple question: Under the proposed law, will local, state and federal officials really try to distinguish between those who came to the U.S. illegally prior to Jan. 1, 2007 (eligible under the proposed law for amnesty), and those who have arrived here illegally — or those who overstay their visas — after Jan. 1, 2007 (not eligible for the proposed amnesty)? The case of the 75 prior interactions with police of the Fort Dix terrorists demonstrates that we currently are incapable of identifying people here illegally, even if their names are in the judicial system. If 12 to 20 million are amnestied, who is seriously going to try and distinguish between the old illegal and the new illegal?

Seriously, we need to still worry about this bill. It’s not dead yet. Call your senators and tell them what you think about it, and that your memory of their vote WILL be a factor when you pull the lever in the voting booth.
