Hello,
I believe that we should also focus on creating anti-illegal immigrant groups in the East Coast. I am a resident of Stamford, CT a small city about 45 minutes from NYC. Things have dramatically changed over the last few years. In a city of mostly white individuals, illegal immigrants have flooded certain areas. They commute in street corners drinking beer and playing music from their pick up trucks. This was never seen in this city and its REPULSIVE. The mayor Dan Malloy even created a designated area where they can wait for jobs. Can you believe that? Also, s a young woman of 25 years, I cannot walk without my dad because the comments they make about me are simply despicable. They are so sexually forthcoming it is nauseating. This is not right and we have to reclaim the respect and consideration that the USA teaches us.
These illegals bring all their macho customs to this country and expect us to tolerate it. I am so sick of this. I am so sick and tired of these people claiming rights every where they go. Please let me know of anything, also if I can do anything from the East Coast tell me.

I suggest you learn about Hispanic countries and their histories.Also learn about their cultures and you will find that women are honored and that the family has the highest priority in their lives. That is what America is all about.

I am totally in support of the fight against illegal immigration. Even though we were all immigrants at one time, the country didn’t spend millions of dollars converting every piece of English into whatever language our forefathers spoke.
Have you seen the Bill O’Reilly show lately? TWO-THIRDS of our prisons are populated with illegal immigrants. TWO-THIRDS!! They are here illegally and they commit crimes!!! Now we have to let out other less offenders into the street to make room for people who don’t belong here in the first place!!!
And what about paying taxes here???? They want to use all of our services and resources but don’t want to help pay for it.

I have spent the last couple of weeks investigating sites with comments from various citizen groups. I lived overseas most of my life and have always enjoyed going to other countries and experiencing their culture. I learned the language and was respected for that. I have just read the comments on this page and I think some of you just do not get it. The U.S. has two bordering countries. The laws that govern our acceptance of immigrants from Canada should be the same for Mexico. For instance, I tried to hire a specialist for my company from Canada but he was denied access to the US primarily because the U.S. government felt that I should be able to hire an “American” to do the job I was recruiting for and would not budge at all. Why is it then that Mexico is suppose to be treated any differently? I know and respect many Hispanics that came from Mexico and followed the requirements to gain access to becoming a citizen. It comes down to one thing: Illegal aliens are committing a crime (hence the word: illegal) and should not be given any justification to be able to use free services, collect social security, change our laws or language requirements, etc.
I do not want to see violence on this issue but it seems that some Americans cannot seem to handle disagreement without violence and many Hispanics want to shove this down our throats. Work through your congress and get petitions, etc. to those that can make the difference.

This Act is exactly what I hear everyone screaming for. It’s already on paper…we just need to take it off the dusty shelf and put it into law.
Kennedy’s proposal is a result of the immigration reform protests by the illegals. Americans didn’t take to the street to protest the protests. Instead, we sat silent and let our government think that the Immigration Control Act of 2005 wasn’t what we wanted either. Please understand, this Act is what put all the illegals into an uproar. I am stunned that illegal people are dictating to us in this country what they feel are their “rights”. I read that if an American citizen went to Mexico and tried to live there (without proper payoffs), the police would send them home, not allow their children to attend Mexican schools, etc.
Instead of looking for a free ride why don’t they go back to Mexico and reform their own government. No one in this country wants them here illegally. They come in like Attilla the Hun and take over. They demand rights without responsibility.
I would ask them to consider Americans who have lived here all of their lives. Over 100 Republicans walked out of the House of Representatives last evening after accusing the Democrats of changing the outcome on an important vote that would give welfare benefits to illegal aliens. C-Span described this morning that the vote was prematurely gaveled at 214-214, which would have resulted in failure, but Republicans say that when the gavel fell, the scoreboard clearly showed that Republicans had won 215-213. Democrats are now saying the final vote was 216-212 in favor of the Democrats who are pushing to give welfare benefits to illegal aliens.
The illegals are going to ruin it for the legal migrants. As things worsen, people are going to shift their opinion against ALL Mexican migrants, just not the ones breaking the laws.
Business and politics are trying to mix things up so you can’t tell one from the other.
Me for one, I will not deal with banks that give them credit cards or accounts, in fact I will PULL my business from them. I will not deal with or buy products from businesses who hire them. We recently moved to this little Ca city for employment reasons. Last Cinco de Mayo the roads were drivable, spacious parking, and I suppose retail didn’t do as well, the emergency rooms were available.
Mexican flags were everywhere for this special celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day. July 4th didn’t quite bring the American flags flying but the opportunity for illegal fireworks was very popular. I’m sad to be back in CA, we moved out of the southeast area in the early eighties, the last third of English speaking people. My fair daughter was the one and only little blond in her 5th grade school picture. After the move she was two grades behind in her skill level because basically education had long ceased in the classroom. Each school day typically received 15 new students and most had never spent a day in school until this opportunity came when their parents had made it across the border. On the internet today that school is listed as 99.9 Hispanic.
I recently visited the area I lived for 30 years. If I had been blindfolded and taken there I wouldn’t know that I was in America except for the familiar houses & streets originally named. Business signs and language heard is not English. A published flyer with coupons was in Spanish only. In fact I wouldn’t imagine you would need English for anything. I will always feel I lost my home because of invasion and the high crime rate that followed.

Does anyone know how much money the government is losing because of under the table transactions. Yet I have never met a native - Mexican who came here illegally which is paying taxes or shies away from taking advantage of our general hospitals or money from the government. I am not a fan of anyone who is refusing to a.) learn the English language, and b.) who takes advantage of the system. I live in North Ga and in the past 10 years almost everything has started to change over to spanish. I do work with alot of spanish people (about 98%). I am in a leadership position over about 18 Hispanic people. These people do not work hard let me tell you. When I started with the company 10 years ago things were alot tougher than they are now. The company is so concerned about them hollering racisism that they pretty much baby all hispanic workers. Also 10 years ago we had about half the people that work there now and got alot more work done—get this, with American workers!!!! Anytime I tell these hispanic workers what needs to be done, they whine and take their time about getting the job done. So yea right the hispanic people do work harder—at not working

When my Grandparents came through Ellis Island from Denmark they made a dedicated effort to learn English and appreciate the freedom and culture of their new country. They did it. I would also like to add that i would rather pay for a illegal immigrant’s hospital bill than for Joe Bob who couldn’t even graduate high school and can’t hold a full time job. But I’m biased though, I grew up in a neighborhood full of “Joe Bobs” and “Bubbas”, lazy folks who couldn’t work a full 8 hours a day to save their lives. I am a business owner and just got sued by 5 family members that I have employed for over 7 or 8 years. Brothers and Sisters who thought they had it all coming to them, all got together and sued us and just made us settle for $500,000.00 just to get out of paying more to defend ourselves. The system sucks! It cost us $300,000.00 in legal fee’s just to get to the settlement. It was absolute extortion!

I believe that we should also focus on creating anti-illegal immigrant groups in the East Coast. I am a resident of Stamford, CT a small city about 45 minutes from NYC. Things have dramatically changed over the last few years. In a city of mostly white individuals, illegal immigrants have flooded certain areas. They commute in street corners drinking beer and playing music from their pick up trucks. This was never seen in this city and its REPULSIVE. The mayor Dan Malloy even created a designated area where they can wait for jobs. Can you believe that? Also, s a young woman of 25 years, I cannot walk without my dad because the comments they make about me are simply despicable. They are so sexually forthcoming it is nauseating. This is not right and we have to reclaim the respect and consideration that the USA teaches us.
These illegals bring all their macho customs to this country and expect us to tolerate it. I am so sick of this. I am so sick and tired of these people claiming rights every where they go. Please let me know of anything, also if I can do anything from the East Coast tell me.

I have spent the last couple of weeks investigating sites with comments from various citizen groups. I lived overseas most of my life and have always enjoyed going to other countries and experiencing their culture. I learned the language and was respected for that. I have just read the comments on this page and I think some of you just do not get it. The U.S. has two bordering countries. The laws that govern our acceptance of immigrants from Canada should be the same for Mexico. For instance, I tried to hire a specialist for my company from Canada but he was denied access to the US primarily because the U.S. government felt that I should be able to hire an “American” to do the job I was recruiting for and would not budge at all. Why is it then that Mexico is suppose to be treated any differently? I know and respect many Hispanics that came from Mexico and followed the requirements to gain access to becoming a citizen. It comes down to one thing: Illegal aliens are committing a crime (hence the word: illegal) and should not be given any justification to be able to use free services, collect social security, change our laws or language requirements, etc.
I do not want to see violence on this issue but it seems that some Americans cannot seem to handle disagreement without violence and many Hispanics want to shove this down our throats. Work through your congress and get petitions, etc. to those that can make the difference.

House Explodes Over Illegal Alien Benefits
Over 100 Republicans walked out of the House of Representatives last evening after accusing the Democrats of changing the outcome on an important vote that would give welfare benefits to illegal aliens. C-Span described this morning that the vote was prematurely gaveled at 214-214, which would have resulted in failure, but Republicans say that when the gavel fell, the scoreboard clearly showed that Republicans had won 215-213. We recently moved to this little Ca city for employment reasons. Last Cinco de Mayo the roads were drivable, spacious parking, and I suppose retail didn’t do as well, the emergency rooms were available.
Mexican flags were everywhere for this special celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day. July 4th didn’t quite bring the American flags flying but the opportunity for illegal fireworks was very popular. I’m sad to be back in CA, we moved out of the southeast area in the early eighties, the last third of English speaking people. My fair daughter was the one and only little blond in her 5th grade school picture. After the move she was two grades behind in her skill level because basically education had long ceased in the classroom. Each school day typically received 15 new students and most had never spent a day in school until this opportunity came when their parents had made it across the border. On the internet today that school is listed as 99.9 Hispanic.
I recently visited the area I lived for 30 years. If I had been blindfolded and taken there I wouldn’t know that I was in America except for the familiar houses & streets originally named. Business signs and language heard is not English. A published flyer with coupons was in Spanish only. In fact I wouldn’t imagine you would need English for anything. I will always feel I lost my home because of invasion and the high crime rate that followed.

I live in North Ga and in the past 10 years almost everything has started to change over to spanish. I do work with alot of spanish people (about 98%). I am in a leadership position over about 18 Hispanic people. These people do not work hard let me tell you. When I started with the company 10 years ago things were alot tougher than they are now. The company is so concerned about them hollering racisism that they pretty much baby all hispanic workers. Also 10 years ago we had about half the people that work there now and got alot more work done—get this, with American workers!!!! Anytime I tell these hispanic workers what needs to be done, they whine and take their time about getting the job done. So yea right the hispanic people do work harder—at not working

My family came legally to this country through Ellis Island, (because that is how you did things legally back then, and by the way you didn’t always get in.) Jim, I’m not sure we’ve lost…. yet. Losing, maybe. I think we started some momentum when we shot down McCain’s Amnesty bill. We need to keep up this momentum. We need to write our congressmen. Write our local politicians too. Illegals are starting to move into areas of the country that traditionally didn’t have them….and they are not putting up with them like California, Texas and Arizona did. I came from the North East and never saw an illegal until I moved to California. People here didn’t think much of it, but I was appalled.

Organize, Organize, Organize!!!! or join a group that are activist. Public rallies, public demonstrations against Illegal Imigration, sit downs, writing your so called political representatives that count on these numbers to support thier campaigns will make a difference. I would also like to add that i would rather pay for a illegal immigrant’s hospital bill than for Joe Bob who couldn’t even graduate high school and can’t hold a full time job. But I’m biased though, I grew up in a neighborhood full of “Joe Bobs” and “Bubbas”, lazy folks who couldn’t work a full 8 hours a day to save their lives. Just curious, how many who have posted know any illegal immigrants? I would think they would be scared to death of getting even basic health care and other benefits for fear of being deported. I’ll see if we can get them transfered to your hospital so you can wait 4 or 5 hours to get seen when you or one of your kids has an accident. Looks like they all get treated to me! Oh yea, our public education. I had to move my kids to a different school on a Navy base because the school system in our district was full of illegal aliens that couldn’t speak english. Yea, I know them. 3/4 of the kids didn’t speak english at all. Why don’t you come and sign your kids up to that school? See what happens to your child as they sit in a classroom full of people that don’t speak english. Their education was going to suffer, I had to move them out. The school treated me like I was a racist when I transferred them. Here’s a question for you Aqua….Do LEGAL immigrants have to worry about education and health care? Is it such a pressing issue to them? I am a business owner and just got sued by 5 family members that I have employed for over 7 or 8 years. Brothers and Sisters who thought they had it all coming to them, all got together and sued us and just made us settle for $500,000.00 just to get out of paying more to defend ourselves. The system sucks! It cost us $300,000.00 in legal fee’s just to get to the settlement. It was absolute extortion!
We offered these illegal aliens 75% of their health care, paid for English Classes ($6000.00 worth for one brother) and gave work to everyone of them! They worked the system and sued us making lies because we fired the oldest brother……

Illegal/criminal aliens have no place in America. Gas prices are demand driven. I live in stamford,ct and i believe somebody has to do something about immigrants.There are so many and some even dangerous for the comunity.The restaurants are full of illegal workers and i don’t understand why nobody ever checks out.The employers shoud be punished first and then the illegals.Also the lanlords that rent houses or apartments to them shuold be fined.Only stopping them we can have some results.
