Comments regarding Norwood’s death

Thank you Rep. Norwood for you service to this Country…

WE DID IT!!! Your calls and letters have been HEARD!!!

The state Senate unanimously approved a bill Tuesday requiring Georgians to obtain a valid state driver’s license before they can pick up a tag for their car. The legislation would effectively make it harder for illegal immigrants to get behind the wheel.

This is a great piece of common sense legislation. If one doesn’t have a valid drivers license, they wouldn’t need a car tag anyway. We can only hope that other states will follow suit.

Hal Hartvigsen of Gainesville, GA – SPEAKS OUT!!!

…reverse the right of illegal immigrants’ children born here to automatic citizenship and free education. Building fences and granting amnesty will not solve the problem, nor does automatic children’s citizenship. They only encourage illegal immigration because they do not address the core problem. Removing the incentives for illegal immigration will drastically reduce, if not resolve, most of the core problem.

Robert Miley, 39, of Flowery Branch was being served a restraining order when the Hall County Sheriff’s Office found bomb-making components in Miley’s house. He is being charged with 2 counts of Possession of an Explosive Device and 1 count of Felony Theft by Receiving.

The tally is now up to three: 19-year-old Seth Adam Kirkland of Cumming is the third person involved in the random shootings that took place in North Georgia.

Predator Pediatrician, Dr. Charles Corley, 39, is charged with child molestation, enticing a minor and sexual battery.

TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and A.J. Wright stores, recently discovered their computers have been hacked, and information pertaining to customer credit cards, debit cards, checks and merchandise returns have been compromised.

Education and crime go hand-in-hand. The future of Georgia’s children strongly depends on the quality of their education. Without it, many kids turn to crime as a profession and we all know where that path will lead.

Georgia is horribly behind in terms of U.S. education. GACW supports any action that strengthens education in Georgia; therefore, we will continue to cover the debate over Georgia’s schools.

One thing is for sure – teachers have a very tough job. The influx of illegal immigration and the lack of resources to support educating foreign children have definitely upped the ante.

We know nobody wants to touch the issue of educating the children of illegal immigrants, but it is an issue that must be addressed in this state. Until then, it’s the teachers that will get the short end of the stick.
