Please let me ask one question. Do you have a pet to take care of? Don’t you think these illegals are more than your pet? They are trying to have a bread for dinner by woking hard. I am telling you they don’t eat more than your pet. Lets have sympathy to them.dud | 04.12.07 – 3:21 pm | #

Illegal immigrants cost Americans much, much more than a can of pet food, my dear.

Billions of dollars are spent each year in welfare, healthcare, law enforcement, and education for illegal immigrants and their offspring.

Do I sympathize with people who are less fortunate? Of course.

Do I sympathize with those who demand citizenship while others wait in line for years? No. The illegal aliens in this country need to apply for citizenship just like everyone else.

What happened to invoking change within ones own country? Why must they come and change ours?

I support the current guest worker programs, lottery, and immigration laws that help non-citizens feed their families everyday.

However; I have no respect or sympathy for people who demand full citizenship and American rights after they breach our barriers, break our laws, smuggle in drugs, spread their gang culture and take our jobs.

If illegal immigrants spent half as much time trying to change their country as they do ours; they would probably have a much better place to live.

Giving away American Citizenship isn’t the answer. Illegals reforming their own country is.
