Border Patrol Provides Free Taxi Service for Illegal Aliens

16 05 2008
Cross posted from Bear creek Ledger:

From the Corruption Chronicles:

Instead of arresting thousands of illegal immigrants who qualify for prosecution for entering the country multiple times, the U.S. Border Patrol simply gives them a ride home knowing that they will likely return.

In some cases the cycle repeats itself on dozens of occasions or more than 100 times with no consequences for the illegal border crossers. The illegal aliens get caught repeatedly and, rather than getting arrested or charged, they get a free ride south of the border. Most have no intention of staying in the U.S., but rather make it north to panhandle with their children in front of American businesses located near the border.

They mostly include groups of women who use their children to lure sympathy and money from Americans. They solicit at strip malls and other businesses far enough from the border to avoid federal agents. Then, when they are ready to return home with their dollars, they purposely loiter at stores near the U.S.-Mexico border and agents drive them back south.

Each year the agency in charge of protecting the nation’s borders gets played in this manner by thousands of illegal aliens. In the last fiscal year alone, nearly 500 Mexican women and children have been rounded up and returned home. One woman sneaked across the border at least 128 times in the past eight years and each time she used the Border Patrol as a free taxi service from El Paso Texas to her hometown of Oaxaca Mexico.

The Border Patrol admits that the repeat offenders qualify for prosecution, but claims that a crucial humanitarian factor—not separating a family—plays a role in its decision not to arrest the illegal immigrant women with children. Agents use a loophole that gives them discretion to keep adults and children united and out of prison. An agency spokesman justified it, saying that these particular Mexicans are coming to beg and not trying to further their entry into the United States.

Isn’t that so nice of the BP, not only do they not charge these illegal aliens with illegal entry but they then turn around and use taxpayers dollars to provide a free taxi ride. The Border Patrol goes from insult to injury with American citizens. I would suppose since none of these illegals are charged that would mean their biometrics are not on file. If charged, the second illegal re-entry would be considered a felony.

Hogwash to the justification used by the BP on separating the adults from their children. The illegal aliens choose to illegally cross the border with their children, it’s their problem if arrested. How about these illegal put their energies into finding work in Mexico instead of begging off of Americans. The BP is encouraging another generation of Mexicans to beg and sponge off of Americans, way to go.

Guard the Border from Home

26 04 2008

Cross posted from The Virtuous Republic:

While the federal government wastes time with virtual fences that
don’t work, a citizen’s group has set up a camera system along the
border that will be monitored by volunteers sitting at their computers
at home.

Compared to the federal government’s $20 million fence, the American
Border Patrol spent $100,000 on a system that actually works! Those who
monitor the cameras will contact the Border Patrol when they see
illegals crossing the border.

If you want to volunteer, visit their website here.

A border security group has created a Web site that will let immigration hawks patrol the border over the Internet.
The American Border Patrol’s Virtual Vigilance program will let
people take control over a high-tech camera mounted on a 46-foot pole and watch people crossing into the U.S.
The idea is to help be the eyes for Customs and Border Protection officers.
Five cameras will be set up at the American Border Patrol’s ranch
near Naco and will provide coverage of about 20 miles. The group wants
volunteers to work half-hour shifts.
Glenn Spencer, American Border Patrol’s president, stood in front
of a projection Tuesday at the Marriott University Park and pointed to
an image of a wall federal officials say 300 illegal entrants go over
every day.
“Americans can sit in their homes and they can watch that wall,” he said.
Two of the group’s cameras are thermal and can see five miles into the dark. They cost $85,000 apiece, Spencer said.
Spencer also gloats that The Boeing Co. can’t get its $20 million
“virtual fence” up and running, while his folks developed the hardware
and software for their project at a cost of $100,000. Read more….

The Washington Post: Promoting Illegal Immigration Daily and Twice On Sunday

26 04 2008

Cross posted from Conservative Common Man:

I receive two daily e-mails from The Washington Post,
one with “news” headlines and the other with political headlines and
editorials. Given the Post’s reputation for being a typical liberally
biased newspaper, I fully expect to see immigration sob stories or
other reports detailing the plight of downtrodden illegal aliens and
the vicious laws that restrict them when I read these e-mails, but
today’s offering was a double dose. One article is the usual fare
detailing the bad people that want illegal immigration laws enforced
and the subsequent ill will and damage to the community caused by the
desire for order and lawfulness. The other article bemoaned the border
fence and its possible impact on plants and animals.

It seems Prince William County in Virginia
has become an example of how not to deal with illegal immigration. The
Washington Post’s preferred method for communities coping with the
problem of illegals is more of a “hands off” approach or more
specifically, a “not at all” approach. Kristen Mack wrote an article
titled “Immigration Fight Has New Target, Stewart Hurts Pr. Williams’ Prospects With Harsh Rhetoric Some Say.”
The target of this fight is Corey Stewart, Prince William County Board
of Supervisors Chairman. The following excerpt from Ms. Mack’s article
paints a grim picture of ill will in Prince William County:

When Prince William Board of County Supervisors Chairman Corey A. Stewart
dressed down the police chief for hosting a public meeting with the
Mexican consul to discuss the county’s controversial immigration
policy, Elena Schlossberg-Kunkel was appalled.

Elected officials and business
leaders in Prince William say they are worried that the county’s focus
on illegal immigration is hurting Prince William’s image at a critical
time in its growth and effort to remake itself.

Virginia’s
second-largest county had been known for years as a center of cheap
housing and bargain shopping. But in recent years, Prince William
leaders have tried to change course by attracting high-tech employers,
building luxury homes and supporting good schools much as neighboring Loudoun and Fairfax counties have done.

Now, several supervisors in both
parties and business leaders said, those efforts could be set back if
county officials do not shift their focus from illegal immigration,
which has divided the community and brought Prince William negative
national exposure. (”The Road to Dystopia,” one newspaper said of the
crackdown.)

Apparently Prince William County
should shift its focus from the illegal alien issue. One wonders why
the board of supervisors would have passed the “controversial
immigration policy” if there hadn’t been a problem with illegal
immigrants in that particular county. Of course the need for and events
preceding the passage of the policy are not to be considered by The
Washington Post, for they do not further the agenda. All that will be
presented is opinion and the arguments that support demonizing the
advocates for tough policies for dealing with ILLEGAL immigrants.
The Post, like the other entities that seek to portray theses
situations as anti-immigrant chooses to intentionally avoid the most
important adjective that describes the targeted immigrants: ILLEGAL! These
disinformation dissemination devices do occasionally slip the word
“illegal” into their text, but not often enough to accurately depict
the fact that these policies and laws are not “anti-immigrant.”

The Post also actively ignores the fact that Prince William County’s
national exposure has not been entirely negative. It is true that the
most widely read and heard exposure is negative due to the liberal
media its place of prominence in reporting. Those of us that find
alternative sources of information have heard positive reports
regarding the county’s policies. As a matter of fact, negative national
exposure at the hands of liberal vessels such as The Washington Post
is the goal of this particular article. Chairman Stewart seems to be
doing his job as opposed to giving in to the pro-illegal liberal agenda
and therefore the liberal press views him as a threat. The more
effective and outspoken someone like Stewart is, the harder the press
must try and silence or discredit him. If they are not successful in
destroying the credibility of public officials that strive to do the
right things and uphold the laws regarding illegal aliens, then others
may follow. The Washington Post editors would really have its work cut
out for them if the majority of counties across the nation took the
problem of illegal immigration seriously.

The
anti-enforcement movement at The Post does not limit its focus to
personal sob stories and the effects on humans. Roxanne de Luca,
filling in at Haemet (www.conservablogs.com/haemet) wrote a great piece on the fence story Environmentalists Throwing Themselves Under the Bus :

The Washington Post reported that the border fence between the United States and Mexico may damage the environment. (Story here.)
Specifically, the fence may prevent various animals and plants from
crossing the border and mating. (The WaPo was unclear on how plants,
which are not locomotive, would be affected by a fence.) Some
environmentalists are so incensed that the pronghorn and long-nose bat
will be affected by the Bush Administration’s policies that they are
threatening civil disobedience.

The environmentalists want to
allow for the free flow of illegals across our southern border because
stemming that flow would harm the terrain and possibly have an affect
on plants and animals in the area. The article referenced by Roxanne,
written by Juliet Eilperin is titled “Researchers Fear Southern Fence Will Endanger Species Further.”

“This wall is so asinine, and so
wrong, I am one of a dozen scientists ready to lay our bodies down in
front of tractors,” Healy Hamilton, who directs the Center for
Biodiversity Research and Information at the California Academy of
Sciences, told colleagues at a recent scientific retreat here. “This is
one thing we might be able to stop.”

“Make it 13!” said Allison Jones, a conservation biologist at the Wild Utah Project, an advocacy group.

Hamilton and Jones have yet to
throw themselves before bulldozers, but their call to arms reflects the
researchers’ growing fears that the wall will imperil species that, in
Hamilton’s words, “walk, fly or crawl across that border.”

The environmentalists appear to
show deep concern for the environment as long as one only looks at part
of the situation. That is unless the trash and backpacks left behind by
the people sneaking over the border pose no threat to the environment.
I am also curious how a fence will affect those species that would fly
“across that border.” That must be one tall fence!

These enviro-nuts embody the
typical liberal mindset, the central tenet of which is gross hypocrisy.
Much like pro-abortion activists that oppose the death penalty for
criminals while advocating its use on the most innocent, these
activists choose a side of an issue and ignore the environmental impact
of the immoral or illegal behavior they support. This is definitely in
line with Al Gore jet-setting around the world to reduce carbon
emissions or the Clintons opposing all wealth… other than that of themselves their closest friends.

I wonder if The Washington Post
and the environmentalists would be satisfied if the border fence was
constructed with recycled materials and built by illegals? It might
work out as long as they are on the Southern side of the fence once it
is completed.

It’s All in the Name - North American Union

26 04 2008

Cross posted from Bear Creek Ledger:

Now instead of calling this the North American Union (NAU) of which
SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership) is a prelude, the
superhighway will now be called a “regional loop“.
Whenever NAU or SPP is mentioned to the Administration the mentioners
are called conspiracy kooks. That’s kind of odd since all of this is
documented on the government’s own site.

NAU: Conspiracy or Coverup?

To see what the elites are planning, you don’t have
peek through keyholes or plant a spy under the table. Just read their
published reports.

The words most frequently used to describe their goals are
“economic integration,” “labor mobility,” “free movement of goods,
services and people across open borders,” and “harmonization” of
regulations.

The Council on Foreign Relations published a major report
on May 17, 2005, only two months after the Security and Prosperity
Partnership (SPP) was announced by President Bush, Mexico’s Vicente
Fox, and Canada’s Paul Martin in Waco on March 23, 2005. The CFR
document explaining SPP’s goals and methodology was posted on the U.S.
State Department website, thereby confirming its authenticity.

The CFR report explains
that the three SPP amigos at Waco “committed their governments” to
“Building a North American Community” by 2010 with a common “outer
security perimeter,” “the extension of full labor mobility to Mexico,”
allowing Mexican trucks “unlimited access,” “totalization” of illegal
aliens into the U.S. Social Security system, and “a permanent tribunal
for North American dispute resolution.”

The prestigious Center for Strategic & International Studies published a report in 2007 called “North American Future 2025 Project.” It advocates “economic integration,” the “free flow of people across national borders,” and “policies that integrate governments.”

The CSIS report even calls for “harmonizing legislation” on
intellectual property rights with other countries. That’s a direct
attack on our U.S. patent system, which is the key to U.S. leadership in inventions and innovation.

The Hudson Institute published a 35-page White Paper
in 2007 called “Negotiating North America: The Security and Prosperity
Partnership.” It states that SPP is the vehicle “for economic
integration” with Mexico and Canada and even “combines an agenda with a
political commitment.”

The Hudson White Paper explains

that SPP’s “design” is for the executive branch to exercise full
“authority” to “enforce and execute” whatever is decided by a 3-nation
agreement of “civil service professionals” as though it were “law.”
That means evading treaty ratification and even congressional
legislation and oversight.

Don’t forget the importance of the Wall Street Journal and its
longtime, very influential editorial-page editor, the late Robert
Bartley. When Mexico’s Vicente Fox called for NAFTA to evolve into
something like the European Union, Bartley wrote: “There is one voice north of the Rio Grande that supports his vision. To wit, this newspaper.”

One of the most influential business writers, Peter F. Drucker, wrote in his book, Post-Capitalist Society,
that “The economic integration of the three countries into one region
is proceeding so fast that it will make little difference whether the
marriage is sanctified legally or not.”

When Larry King asked Mexico’s Vicente Fox about plans for a “Latin America united with one currency,” Fox answered
in the affirmative. He said that one currency was part of the “vision”
of the Free Trade Area of the Americas that Bush agreed to in the Declaration of Quebec City in 2001.

So now we know why the Bush Administration won’t build a fence to interfere with “labor mobility” across open borders. Now we know why Bush won’t pardon Ignatio Ramos and Jose Compean, while winking at the prosecutor’s deal to give immunity to a professional drug smuggler.

Now we know why Bush thumbed his nose at the overwhelming congressional votes (411-3 in the House and 75-23 in the Senate) to exclude Mexican trucks from U.S. roads. Now we know why Bush has been more persistent in pursuing “totalization
to put illegal aliens into Social Security than to promote his proposal
to privatize a small part of Social Security for American citizens.

This is no conspiracy. It’s all part of the “economic integration”
of the North American countries that’s been openly talked about for
years.

Yet, today and tomorrow, the 3 countries will be meeting again in New Orleans, LA.

From Lonewacko:

The fourth annual “North American Leaders Summit” -
part of the Security and Prosperity Partnership started by George Bush
- will be held Monday and Tuesday in New Orleans and will be attended
by Bush, Felipe Calderon of Mexico, and Stephen Harper of Canada.
Expect the news reports about the event to be credulous.

The same time President Bush is in NOLA for the SPP summit he will
be in attendance to help celebrate the re-opening of the Mexican
consulate. After Katrina NOLA was flooded with “workers” from Mexico
and Central America. Contractors canceled construction contracts with
companies with American workers to go with companies with illegal
aliens for cheaper costs.

Mexico to reopen New Orleans consulte, George Bush to appear

[At the summit], [o]bservers say [Felipe Calderon]
is eager to tout the role his 30,000 countrymen played in the
rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005… Ricardo
Alday, spokesman for the Mexican Embassy in Washington, said New
Orleans is a good place for Calderon to remind Bush of Mexican workers’
contributions to the U.S. economy…
“I will expect the president to
touch on the economic contributions of migrants to the U.S. economy,
particularly to an area like New Orleans, where I understand a big part
of the cleaning and reconstruction after Hurricane Katrina has been
done by immigrants — not just Mexicans, but immigrants in general,”
Alday said.

Another item noted from Lonewacko is the support and appearance by
LA Lt Gov. Mitch Landrieu however the newly elected Governor Bobby
Jindahl isn’t mentioned. Hopefully, Gov. Jindahl doesn’t support the
influx of illegal workers to rebuild NOLA.

Nearly 300 Illegals Convicted of DUI in North Carolina

26 04 2008

Cross posted from Virtuous Republic

Three hundred illegal aliens were sent to jail for DUI in North
Carolina in 2007. In North Carolina, that accounted for 18% of all such
arrests.

If the Federal Government controlled our borders, the roads in North Carolina would be a safer place to drive.

When as a country did we decide not to care?

Nearly 300 illegal immigrants were convicted on driving-while-impaired charges and placed in North Carolina prisons in 2007.

Hispanics also account for 18 percent of drunken-driving arrests,
while making up less than 7 percent of the state’s population,
according to a study from the University of North Carolina Highway
Safety Research Center aired in WRAL’s documentary “Focal Point: Crossing the Line.”

The study also showed that Hispanics involved in car crashes were
2.5 times more likely to be drunk than white drivers and three times
more likely to be drunk than black drivers.

In the three cases listed above, each of the accused drunken drivers
had extensive contact with the judicial system – but had managed to
elude the immigration system until these incidents. Read more….

Villaraigosa warns ICE to back off immigration raids

11 04 2008

Cross posted from The Uncooperative Blogger

This just chafes my backside!

From Press-Telegram:

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is asking federal officials to rethink their policy on workplace immigration crackdowns that involve established businesses and to focus on employers that mistreat workers instead.

The mayor said in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff that work-site raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement could have “severe and long-lasting effects” on the local economy, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.

ICE made more than 4,900 work-site arrests nationwide in fiscal 2007, a 45-fold increase over the number in 2001, authorities said.

More than 130 undocumented workers were arrested at a San Fernando Valley manufacturing company in February and over 60 workers were arrested for immigration violations at South Bay-area warehouses last week.

Los Angeles companies such as clothing manufacturer American Apparel Inc. have reported being questioned by ICE officials about their hiring procedures.

Villaraigosa accused federal officials of targeting “established, responsible employers” in industries that rely on “workforces that include undocumented immigrants.”

“In these industries, including most areas of manufacturing, even the most scrupulous and responsible employers have no choice but to rely on workers whose documentation, while facially valid, may raise questions about their lawful presence,” he wrote in the March 27 letter.

He said ICE should spend its limited resources targeting employers who exploit wage and hour laws.

First, the Villian Gross is a La Raza supporter and Mexican before U.S. traitor to this country.

Second, you are complaining they are targeting “established, responsible employers” in industries that rely on “workforces that include undocumented immigrants.”? Responsible employers follow the law, they do not violate the law. If your business requires the use of illegal labor, than you are not only irresponsible, but criminal; period. This kind of mindset just infuriates me, let poor people here working illegally and in this country illegally stay and just accept it. Even though they are all living below the poverty line here and are a drain on our resources and tax dollars. What a profoundly stupid, open border, one world, left wing liberal, progressive, socialist, commie bastard thing to say.

Mayoral spokesman Matt Szabo said Villaraigosa and Los Angeles business leaders hope to discuss their concerns with Chertoff in person next week during an annual business trip to Washington.

Your concerns? We the people do not care about your concerns! We want the rule of law to be enforced and our borders sealed. We also want all those here illegally out of our country. We do not care how hard it is to accomplish it, just do it. And the way they are increasing their raids, if they ever seal the border they will succeed within 10 years.

Build the fence El Presidente Bush!

Adios, La Cucarachas, Arizona Waves Bye-Bye

5 04 2008

Cross posted from Islamanazi:

As it has become the favorite entry point for undocumented aliens trying to sneak into the United States, Arizona has become a laboratory for whether a state can single-handedly combat illegal immigration. It can.

It has barred illegal aliens from receiving government services, from winning punitive damages in lawsuits and from posting bail for serious crimes. A new state law shuts down businesses that hire illegal workers. And the sheriff of Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix and three-fifths of the state’s population, dispatches his deputies and volunteer “posses” to search for illegal street vendors and aliens being smuggled through the county.

The campaign has had an effect: Illegal aliens complain it’s impossible to find good work (sob, sob) and are leaving the state.

Businesses that cater to both legal immigrants and illegal aliens report a huge drop in sales. “There used to be so many people they would fight for parking out there,” said Omar Flores, 31, manager of La Mexicana market in western Phoenix. “Now the grocery store is mostly empty.”

Good. You’ve been profiting by aiding and abetting criminals. Now go out of business.

Part of the exodus is the drop in home building. In the construction sector, which employs many illegal aliens, 10% of jobs have vanished over the last year as home prices dropped. The new employer sanctions law has led some businesses to say they won’t expand in Arizona, which means they rely on illegal labor. Good riddance!

Get ready to roar with laughter: Enough illegals have left that the government of Sonora, the Mexican state bordering Arizona, has complained about how many people have arrived on its doorstep. Ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahaha! COMPLAINED! Oh poor babies! Do you suppose anyone in the Arizona statehouse is listening sympathetically? Complained! That’s great.

Pearce says the overall effect has been undeniably positive for Arizona. “Smaller class sizes, shorter emergency room waits,” he said. “Even if illegal aliens are paying taxes — and most of them aren’t — the cost to taxpayers is huge.”

Let’s not forget the enormous jail and prison expenses, the huge law enforcement costs, the need for all those extra police and deputies, the constant crimes, robberies, rapes, murders. While the business people who have relied on illegal aliens for their ill-gotten income, the honest citizens of Arizona have been paying through the nose.

With the new law against hiring illegals, the only defense for an employer is if it used E-Verify, a federal pilot project to allow businesses to confirm the legality of their laborers.

The law did what it was supposed to with Jorge Hernandez, a 32-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico. He had been working in a Phoenix tire shop for years when in December his bosses told him they’d have to let him go because of the new law. Now he struggles to support his family by working as a day laborer and is thinking of leaving.

“I’ve been in Arizona for 11 years,” he said. “This is the worst one. For those years I worked every day. I had money, I had a car.”

Cry me a river, you lazy bastard! After 11 years you still had never bothered to apply for citizenship?

Hernandez dreams of moving to New Mexico, where friends have told him the economy is stronger and sentiment against illegal immigrants weaker. “They don’t have E-Verify there,” he said in Spanish.

And that’s entirely because of Governor Richardson, who is of Mexican descent, identifies himself as Hispanic and has no respect at all for his nations immigration laws. With any luck, all the illegal aliens in the U.S. will go to New Mexico as the last open state. Then we’ll watch that state disintegrate.

In other good news, the amount of LEGAL immigration dropped by 17% last year because of increased “administrative problems”. Good! What are we, a goddamned bottomless pit for the worlds disaffected? There’s too many people here now and most of those only speak Spanish. Amscray! Vamoose, hijos de putas! Cago en tu leche

In the meantime, the Dept. of Homeland Security is forging ahead with The Fence, by overriding environmental report requirements. A lot of landowners along the route, of Mexican persuasion, have tried to stop the fence but liberal use of Eminent Domain and now this, is ensuring its continued construction.

There’s a lot of whining over supposed environmental concerns that the fence stops the “migration of animals to and from Mexico.” Oh? You mean like, coyotes and white-tail deer? How sad. Those poor coyotes, unable to go from sheep ranch to sheep ranch like they used to. What a loss. Let’s not forget “the endangered Sonoran Pronghorn and lesser long-nosed bat,” for which we’re giving $800,000 to Fish and Wildlife to use to mitigate any impact, although why the bat can’t fly over the fence is a mystery to me. It sure as Hell won’t fly into it, not with the radar they have. Bats can sense a single gnat in the air. And eat it.

Perhaps we should earmark some funds to mitigate the extinction of illegal aliens? I can see it now, the last Illegal Alien, like the last passenger pigeon, nicely mounted in a glass case in the Smithsonian.

Undocumented Aliens, Real Crimes 3/23

27 03 2008

Cross posted from The Virtuous Republic

An illegal immigrant, who had twice before been arrested for DUI, was recently sentenced for driving the wrong way and seriously injuring two occupants of a car that he crashed into. Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime.

Funny how local law enforcement can spend their resources to run radar, but they can’t be bothered to check the immigration status of those they arrest. I guess there isn’t any money in that….

Mario Roberto Diaz-Mourillo racked up a four-year prison term for driving the wrong way on a Great Smoky Mountains National Park roadway known as the Spur and crashing head-on into a car full of Florida tourists, leaving two of them with permanent injuries.

But Diaz-Mourillo’s case was as much about illegal immigration, lax enforcement and willful blindness to it as it was about the May 30 crash.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Ed Schmutzer pointed out that Diaz-Mourillo twice ran afoul of the law and even served jail time. But his illegal status was either ignored or undetected.

His first brush with East Tennessee law enforcement came in February 2004 when he was convicted in Washington County of charges including driving under the influence, assaulting a police officer and weapons possession.

His second conviction for DUI came in Knox County just 10 days before the head-on crash on the national park roadway. Diaz-Mourillo fled after the crash, so authorities could not prove whether he had been drinking. National Park Service Agent Jeff Carlisle was credited by Schmutzer with tracking down Diaz-Mourillo despite his use of false identification. Read more….

Ring Ring, illegals at your door

Two
more Iraqis with false Bulgarian passports were detained by Mexican
officials in Monterrey – bringing the total to four this month.
The
Bush Administration is promising action on the Southern border between
the US and Mexico and we all look forward to seeing if this actually
comes to fruition. We do not want terrorists to have an easy access
either from the South or North.

Also we do not want the US to become a carbon copy of the UK, where they have people like Dr. Mohammad Naseem, chairman of the Birmingham Central Mosque (supports the killing of homosexuals),
where Imams preach hate in the Mosques, where children are taught to
hate non-Muslims and think that killing them is just fine, and where
Muslims who join the British army also have their lives threatened
because, “it can be seen as wrong for a Muslim man to become a soldier, as they may be asked to do things they do not agree with.”

Wisam Gorgies, a 34-year-old man, and Rana Nazar Peyoz, a
26-year-old woman, reportedly flew from Madrid and landed in Monterrey,
[snip]

Following questioning, the pair admitted they intended to reach the United States. [snip]

Mexican officials said the are investigating “a network that
could be made up of Mexicans operating in Greece who are selling false
Bulgarian passports for $10,000 to European and Middle Eastern
citizens.”

Last year, dozens of Iraqis were discovered attempting to enter Monterrey with phony ID – 17 of them in a single event.

In addition, earlier this month, Norwegian authorities
reported that Iraqis affiliated with al-Qaida and former Baath Party
members may have slipped into Kuwait after obtaining $15,000 Norwegian
passports.
Authorities in Kuwait say they are on the lookout for any Iraqi citizen bearing a Norwegian passport.

See Layla’s article “Virtual” Border Fence:

On Friday the Bush administration officials said that they
will begin to use new technology to create a “virtual” border fence
along sections of the border with Mexico. [snip]

Further intensifying the crackdown on illegal immigration,
the administration will unveil new rules in coming weeks requiring all
federal contractors to participate in a system, known as E-Verify, to
confirm the legal immigration status of their workers, Homeland
Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Attorney General Michael B.
Mukasey said at a joint news conference in Washington.

Next week, civil fines for employers who hire illegal immigrants
will increase by 25 percent, the officials said. Current fines are
$2,200 for a first offense and up to $10,000 for repeat offenses. (continue reading)

Mary Chamberlain, tireless worker against illegal immigration, send
the following email. Lou Dobbs has endorsed Mike Huckabee, so any
intent to have him run for president is news to me. I’m not sure that
he’s the man for the job, but I do think it’s too late to launch a
candidacy.

Friends of ALIPAC,

It is now or never for Mr. Dobbs to decide if he will throw his hat in the ring for President.

This is the last e-mail you will receive on the Lou Dobbs topic,
unless you are signed up as a volunteer and/or potential contributor at

as an independent.

For those of you that like Lou Dobbs, Lou needs our help. We have
not told everyone what is happening yet because we have been busy on
many projects, but Lou Dobbs is under fire.

The SPLC, ADL, and National Council of La Raza, along with George
Soros group Media Matters all want Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck OFF THE
AIR! They are making a serious attempt to curtail free speech in
America and to gag all of talk radio! This threat is real and in
motion.

Showing support for Lou Dobbs helps people see that he is valued regardless of if he decides to do us all a favor and run.

Please help us in the following ways.

1. If you are not signed up at www.loudobbsforpresident.org please do so now.

2. Please use the ” Join Us!” feature to contact everyone you can

Chertoff gets tough on virtual illegal aliens

24 02 2008

Cross posted from Conservative Common Man

Breitbart has a story about 28 miles of virtual fence
that is going to be installed on the Arizona-Mexico border. Can Count
Chertoff guarantee that his virtual fence would have kept out Alianiss Morales when she entered the United States, had one been installed at her point of entry?

This illegal alien was apparently in Minnesota doing work that an American could be doing, working for Jenno Foods. It is sad that displacing an American worker is not all Morales has done. Tuesday she ran a stop sign and collided with a school bus, killing four children.
Why did this tragedy happen? A portion of the responsibility must be on
the shoulders of our federal government. Chertoff has not been doing
his job. This may well be the result of President Bush providing
direction that superseded adequate performance of the duties Chertoff
should have been executing. The bottom line is the fact that the job
was not performed.

The Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for president has been an
active obstruction to border security and the most recent amnesty bill
was his namesake (along with the senior drunk driver from
Taxachussets.) How many people out there wonder how we got to the point
where no matter which party wins the presidency, illegal aliens will
likely get amnesty and benefits for violating our laws? Perhaps the two
major parties do not have the best interest of American citizens at
heart. What a shock! Of course the majority of the
electorate is distracted by other factors of their lives, some
significant and others petty. The distracted majority is the recipe for
disaster that will be prepared by our elite political “leaders!”

Chertoff spouts off about the effectiveness of the virtual fence,
but the example he gives in the article seems to hinge on the fact that
the prospective crossers gathered near the border. What if they hadn’t
gathered and delayed crossing? If they had just crossed, we might have
known how many had crossed, but they might not have been caught or
chased back across the border. I suggest that a virtual fence might be
of more use in some on-line game and could be used to keep out virtual
illegal aliens. The unfortunate part is that virtual illegal aliens
commit no crimes and don’t kill people.

Once again, when DHS spends our money on security it is actually
wasting it on something that may be little more than a symbol designed
to look like enforcement.

Illegal Immigration Action Alert!

23 02 2008

As you are probably aware, the Town of Jupiter has the distinction of supporting, what
open border activists refer to as, “The Model” for which future Day Labor
centers are to be created!

The town spent almost $2 million dollars to provide the building, etc.,
for this illegal activity against the outcry of its
citizens!

Currently, in Palm Beach
County alone, four other cities are
considering the creation of Day Labor centers based on assistance and advice of
the Town of Jupiter staff, and open border operators of
“The Model”.

Organized weekly protests against this center have been going on now for
over three months…

The goal is to have the center shut down, thus destroying its “Model”
status, as well as, its effectiveness in dealing with the issues associated with
Illegal Immigration.

Believe me when I tell you…the town is now feeling the impact and they
are worried!

Here’s Better
News!

Last Friday, one of our key protesters,
and long time political activist, qualified to run against the Vice
Mayor
, who by the way, donated his left over campaign
contributions from his last campaign, to the Day Labor Center!  State Law allows excess funds to be
distributed to qualified non-profits, political parties or the respective town
or district….it’s easy to see where his allegiances
lie!

Please join me in
supporting

John Parsons for Jupiter
Town Council!

The election will be held March
11th…so there is not much time, and we need your
help!

We are
asking for your help & support in any one, or more, of three
ways:

·
Would you, as your organization’s leader, be willing to be part of the
“Boots On The Ground” effort between March 1st and March
11th, Election Day?

o
Your mission would be to help keep the
protests going and provide campaign support IE: door hanging, sign waving, and
other grass roots campaign activities…

o
(And remember now… the
weather is really nice in Florida during March!)

·
Would you provide a letter of
endorsement on behalf of your organization?

And finally,

·
Can John count on you to
support him financially?  He must
raise 10K by this Friday, 2/22 to execute the campaign plan!

(Up to the Florida Law limit of
$500)

Any one of these three means of support will be critical in the effort to
place an Anti-Illegal Immigration advocate on the town council that will fight
the fight, while we implement our other plans to take back the town council and
shut down the Day Labor center!

Learn more by visiting the following web
sites:

We hope we can count on your
support.  Please contact me
personally (Scott) at
(561) 502-1714 for
additional details about this effort.

If you wish to be removed from this e-mail listing for support, please
let us know by return e-mail, and you will be taken off the list
immediately.

Thank You for taking the
time to learn about this important situation!

Adios, Calderon

20 02 2008

Mexicos’ president is home after spending 5 days here in the U.S.
supposedly to view the illegal alien problem from our point of view but
actually to attempt to interfere in our political processes and tell us
that we must accept an open invasion from Mexico and support the
Mexican economy.

Republican congressman and former presidential candidate Tom Tancredo
reprimanded visiting Mexican President Felipe Calderon, yesterday in a
letter sent to the Mexican Embassy, for meddling in U.S. affairs,
telling him he should focus on his country’s own problems instead of
“encouraging illegal immigration.”

Calderon told the California Legislature on Wednesday that Mexico
and the United States “will never find prosperity by closing their
doors.”

Tancredo says he appreciates Calderon’s concern for joint
prosperity, but wrote that Mexico’s economic and social ills can’t be
resolved by exporting its citizens to the U.S.

In Cambridge, Mass., Mr. Calderón stressed the importance of transforming “Mexico from a nation that loses its best people to migration
into a nation capable of generating opportunity for Mexicans on their
own soil.” Then he went on to say “I need to change Mexico’s perception
that the Americans are the enemies, and it’s important to change the
perception that the Mexicans are the enemy,” he said.

I have to ask… if America is “the enemy” as Calderon says, then why
are so many Mexicans coming here? This perception that we are the enemy
is deliberately fostered by Calderon himself. The perception we have of
the Mexicans being the enemy is the only valid one. We aren’t pouring
into Mexico in violation of their very strict and punitive border laws and taking away their jobs and their money, and committing all sorts of violent and heinous crimes. But they are doing that here!
And excuse me but if that motley horde of rapists and grape pickers,
many of whom have never used a flush toilet, is Mexicos’ “best people”,
I would hate to meet their worst. Who does he think he’s kidding?

Of course Mexicans are perceived as the enemy. They wage border wars
over drugs and attack our Border Patrol agents who try to keep out the
smugglers, while their own corrupt government urges them on and lodges
diplomatic complaints when we act in our own defense. The Mexican
government does all it can to prevent us from enforcing our laws, and
then Calderon has the gall to tell us how to run Our Country?

They weren’t real happy with him back in Mexico, either. The
influential, left-leaning Mexico City daily La Jornada said Mr.
Calderón’s trip was “marked by gaffes and deficiencies, from the
unexplained exclusion of the national and international press to the
shameful incident” in which a briefing at a Starbucks, arranged by Mr.
Calderón’s press office, ended abruptly when employees asked the
entourage to leave because they were disrupting service to customers.

That had to hurt. The president of Mexico getting kicked out of a
Starbucks. He went home without getting the traditional handshake from
our president, as well.

The best parts of his visit are that at least he came over here legally, and then he went back to Mexico.

Congress working behind your back

20 02 2008

Cross posted from Right Truth

Your NumbersUSA
Capitol Hill Team has talked to a number of people who have been in
high level Hill meetings where leaders of both Parties have expressed a
desire during this time of economic turmoil to sneak through
giant increases of H-1B visas for foreign tech workers, H-2B visas for
foreign laborers, green cards for permanent foreign nurses and a
five-year visa for 12-20 million illegal foreign workers and their
dependents.
(hat tip Mary Chamberlain)

Five-year Amnesty Bill Under Discussion

Some House Democrats are having behind-the-scenes
discussions about creating a special visa for illegal aliens they
believe will enjoy considerable Republican support. Under the plan,
illegal aliens who can prove they have jobs, pay a fine, and pass a
criminal background check will receive the gift of legal status for 5
years. The plan is designed to attract pro-business Republicans and
those who backed the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill by also increasing the
number of visas issued for technical, temporary and agricultural
workers.

Their plan appears to be to create a bi-partisan alternative to the bi-partisan
SAVE Act (Secure America with Verification Enforcement), which focuses on reducing illegal immigration instead of rewarding it.

Rep. Heath Shuler’s (D-N.C.) SAVE Act now has 144 bipartisan signers
in the House and Senate. The SAVE Act will require all employers to use
the electronic verification system to keep illegal aliens out of U.S.
jobs. NumbersUSA believes that this legislation is just the vehicle to
give us a chance to actually pass immigration legislation through a
Democratic-controlled Congress that could significantly improve the
lives of most Americans. “It’s the one [immigration] bill that will
pass this Congress,” said Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus
Chairman Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.) in an interview with The Hill. “We
have to make this about illegal employment and crack down on employers.”

Obama to San Antonio Rally: Immigration Not a ‘Political Football’

20 02 2008

Cross posted from The uncooperative Blogger

So why are you using it as one?

From WOAI:

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, addressing a rally in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood in his majority Hispanic city, said Tuesday that the issue of immigration should not be used as “a political football.”

Security of the border has to be combined with a pathway to citizenship for people who are already here, he said to cheers at a rally in advance of the hotly contested March 4 primary against Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“Let’s solve it instead of trying to score cheap political points,” Obama said.

Before he addressed the crowd, some chanted “Si, se puede!” — the Spanish equivalent of the “Yes, we can!” chant that has become a hallmark of his campaign and the cry used by the late Latino activist Cesar Chavez.

There is not one candidate fro president that believes in the rule of law. McCain has the exxact same position as Obama and Clinton, we have got to take back the congress so that conservatives will continue to block any form of amnesty for those in this country illegally.

As we know, the U.S. constitution means nothing to most of our elected cockroaches.

Article 4 of the US Constitution guaranteeing all states protection from armed, semi-armed, and unarmed invasion is being ignored.

Article 11 of the US Constitution granting Congress the power to set uniform immigration laws is being ignored.

Mexico Travel Advisory: DON’T GO!

12 02 2008

Cross posted from Islamanazi.com

Vacationers from Canada to San Diego are suffering increasing dangers in Mexico. The Canadian ‘Sudbury Star’
reports that a couple, Jules and Jo-Anne Lapalme, and another couple
were vacationing in Cancun and the men were accused of committing an
unstated sex offense against a female hotel employee and threatened
with arrest by the hotel manager and 4 aggressive employees. They were
told to sign a confession to “make it go away” and after refusing, the
police, who were waiting outside, came and arrested them.

These tourists were sporting expensive jewelry and the whole affair
was an obvious set-up. At the station, they were told to pay $160 to
have the charges dropped.

Sound like a fun vacation? Would you pay $8000 for that experience? They did.

Federal agents said kidnappings of U.S. citizens
by Mexican gangs in Tijuana, Rosarito Beach and Ensenada are becoming more common.

Local FBI agents told the San Diego Union-Tribune that at least 26
San Diego County residents were kidnapped and held for ransom in the
three popular Mexican communities last year, compared to 11 in 2006.

“Some of the 26 were recovered, some were hurt and some were killed.”

Back in Canada, supporters of Ontario native Brenda Martin, imprisoned
in Mexico for nearly two years without trial, are demanding their
government exercise its legal right to ask for an immediate ruling
asking that the charges against her be thrown out because her
constitutional rights under Mexican and international law had been
breached.

Two years in a Mexican prison without a trial?

Not by car, not by boat. John Long was found dead on the Mexican coast
under suspicious circumstances after setting off in his boat from
Alameda, California. The boat was aground, nearby. The Mexican
authorities, wh
